My Kitty

This is a photomanipulation based on a photograph I took of "one of my cats." I say it that way because he was never really my cat. This was a stray cat that was born at my house, from a stray female cat. It was, of course, a feral cat. At the time I took this photo, it was obviously fleeing for it's nine lives. I captured a wonderful sense of motion, and fear in that photo. The original was shot in color, don't remember which camera I used, however. Probably an early digital camera of mine.

The photomanipulation is thus: the original color photo was heavily cropped to feature the kitty; it was turned to sepia tone; an artifical white border was added, as was the wear-and-tear (plus the signature); it was then placed upon a stock photo of a brickwork floor. The whole image was created in Photohop, probably version 7 (which I still use, as of this writing. I'll probably buy a newer version in the coming weeks since I just landed a nice new job.).
